Bring your clients along.

The tools

Everything around the advice, in one place

Northwend handles the gathering, the tracking and the paperwork, so your time goes to the conversation.

  • Client setup links

A one-time link for each client to set their own password. You never share or see it.

  • Every client on one page

Each client's value, today's change, alerts, and who's due a review, with any client a click away.

  • Proposals

Draft a mix on a client's plan, compare it with today's, and share it. Your client accepts or replies from their own account.

  • Meeting prep

What changed since the last review, and talking points drafted for you to edit and keep as a private note.

  • Progress reports

Prepare a report for last month, last quarter or the time since your last one, and send it. Your client reads it in their account, and a plan PDF is there for meetings.

  • Notes and next steps

Notes your client sees, private notes only you see, and next steps you can both follow.

  • Model portfolios

Save your own model mixes once and use them across clients.

  • A Monday email

Your week in numbers: reviews due, proposals accepted, open next steps. Counts only - no client names or figures leave the app by email.

  • Your name on it

Your name, firm, contact details and a message, shown to your clients on their own pages.

For your clients

A calm place your clients will actually open

Clients bring holdings from any brokerage - pasted, uploaded, from a screenshot or typed in - with no brokerage login. They see their goal, their plan and your notes, and Ask Northwend explains what they see in plain language between meetings.

  • Any brokerage. Schwab, Fidelity, Robinhood and others, all treated the same.
  • Education, not advice. The guide explains; the recommendations stay yours.
  • Their data stays small. Uploads aren't kept, account numbers are cut to the last 3 digits, and the AI sees percentages only.
  • Two-step sign-in for you. Every advisor account uses an authenticator app.

Common questions

Does Northwend hold client money or place trades?

No. It isn't a broker or a custodian and isn't connected to any brokerage. Money and trades stay with each client's brokerage.

Who gives the advice?

You do. Northwend is an educational tool: it explains and organizes, and its guide never tells anyone what to buy. Your own obligations, such as keeping records, stay with you and your firm.

Which brokerages do my clients need?

Any. Clients bring holdings in from their brokerage's own export, a paste, a screenshot, or by typing them in.

What does it cost?

Northwend is free while it's in beta. If it ever charges for anything, it will say so first, and nothing is charged without your say-so.

Can I see other people's accounts?

No. You see only the accounts linked to you as your clients, and each client sees only their own.
